I am a linguist. I am currently an assistant professor at the department of Spanish, Modern and Classical Languages of the Universitat de les Illes Balears.

Before that I have worked as a computational linguist at Google (through Adecco Outsourcing) and I was a lecturer at the department of Language Theory and Communication Sciences of the Universitat de València and at the department of Spanish Linguistics and Literary Theory of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

I received my PhD in Cognitive Science and Language from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). My dissertation Adverbial adjectives and nominal scalarity was written at the Linguistics and Cognitive Science research group (LyCC) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

My research focuses on discourse structure in typical and atypical development and on the semantics and pragmatics of modification, especially regarding gradability, vagueness and subjectivity. I am a member of the Bilingualism and Spanish Language Acquisition research group and the Grup de Recerca Sociolingüística de les Illes Balears (GRESIB) at UIB.
